This deliciously creamy, refreshing iced strawberry matcha latte is keto-friendly, sugar-free, and is a healthier version of your favorite café drink!

It's hard not to love a good matcha latte, but an iced strawberry matcha latte is such a perfect summer drink! In our keto version, you get all the sweet, creamy strawberry flavor combined with the earthy taste of matcha. It drinks like a total treat, but tastes quite light and refreshing.
Of course, it’s sugar-free (we use powdered monk fruit sweetener) and lighter than the Starbucks version, thanks to almond milk and just a splash of cream. That means you can sip without the guilt.
It takes under five minutes to whip up, which is ideal when you’re craving a snack that won’t weigh you down. It’s surprisingly filling and works great as an afternoon pick-me-up or even a morning one if you need a boost!
Ingredients
Matcha green powder: We use a culinary grade of matcha which is the cheapest type of matcha to buy. It's typically used for culinary purposes including lattes or smoothies. We use just 1 teaspoon, which is perfect for us. For a stronger flavor, you can use 1 ½ teaspoons of matcha.

Fresh, organic strawberries: Add natural sweetness and a fruity layer that pairs so well with matcha. We recommend purchasing organic strawberries since non-organic strawberries are exposed to a high level of pesticides.
Almond milk: We use almond milk as a milk alternative in this matcha latte. However, you may substitute with another type of non-dairy milk like unsweetened coconut or macadamia milk.
Heavy cream: Makes the strawberry layer ultra creamy. We add just a few tablespoons and it's so worth it!
Sweetener: Since matcha can be bitter, we like to sweeten the tea. We use sugar-free monk fruit sweetener (powdered), but you can use any sugar-free sweetener you like. You might want to start with a few teaspoons of your favorite sweetener and add more to taste.
How to Prepare
Blend the strawberry cream layer: In a blender or small food processor, blend the strawberries, heavy cream, and 2 teaspoons powdered monk fruit until smooth. Set aside.
Make the matcha: Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl. Add the cold water and whisk briskly until smooth and frothy. Add sweetener to matcha and water mixture and whisk until dissolved.
Assemble the drink: Add 3 to 5 pieces ice cubes to a tall glass. Pour in the almond milk, then the whisked matcha. Finally, spoon or pour the strawberry cream layer on top.
Serve: Stir before sipping, or leave it layered for a fun presentation.
