These sweet and savory snack mix clusters are the kind of low-carb snack you can’t stop grabbing! They’re crunchy, a little salty, a little sweet, and just as yummy as the higher-in-carb, sweet Chex mix recipe.

These clusters combine few of our favorite keto treats, including Catalina Crunch Chex-style snack mix, Atkins M&M-style candies, sugar-free marshmallows, and sugar-free white chocolate chips. And, thankfully, many of these ingredients are now at major grocers (with the exception the sugar-free marshmallows).

Plus, these snack mix clusters are an easy, no-bake treat that comes together in minutes. You simply melt a few ingredients, combine them all together and freeze.

They’re great for holidays, parties, gatherings, or anytime snacking!

    Ingredient Notes

Traditional Catalina Crunch Snack Mix: This low-carb snack mix (which we love as salty snack!) is about as close as you can get to the traditional Chex Mix. Please note this recipe uses a full bag. If you don't have, you could use a combination of salty nuts and seeds along with a Catalina Crunch cereal (you'll need about 2 cups).

ChocZero Sugar-Free Marshmallows: Our favorite sugar-free marshmallows that taste and melt similar regular marshmallows.

Sugar-Free Peanut M&M-style Dandies (Atkins): These are a perfect sugar-free replacement for peanut M&Ms. You can find these at most major grocers.

Lily's Sugar-Free White Chocolate Chips: We use Lily's sugar-free white chocolate chips, but you could also use Lily's sugar-free dark chocolate or semi-sweet baking chips if you like

Butter: For melting along with the sugar-free marshmallows.

Coconut Oil: Coconut oil helps thin the white chocolate, so you can easily incorporate it to mixture.

    How to Prepare

STEP 1: Line a muffin tin with paper liners and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combined the snack mix and the peanut candies.

STEP 2: In a small saucepan, melt the butter and sugar-free marshmallows over low heat, stirring gently until smooth. Transfer the melted marshmallow mixture and stir to combine with the snack mix and peanut candies (as best as you can). Note the mixture will naturally be clumpy at this stage.

STEP 3: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with the coconut oil in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until completely smooth. Pour the melted white chocolate over the snack mix mixture and stir until well combined. This will help break down most of the clumps and evenly coat everything.

STEP 4: Spoon the mixture into the lined muffin tin, making sure each scoop includes a few peanut candies, since they tend to sink to the bottom. Freeze for 20 minutes, or until the clusters are fully set.

    How to Store

Once set, store the snack mix clusters in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For longer storage, keep them in the freezer for up to 2 months. Let frozen clusters sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating so they’re easier to bite into.
