This cottage cheese peanut butter cereal bowl is creamy, crunchy, and delicious with over 30 grams of protein and low in carbs. An easy high-protein breakfast!

This yummy cottage cheese peanut butter cereal bowl, inspired by Eating Bird Food, is creamy, crunchy, fruity and peanut buttery. It tastes similar tl peanut butter and jelly, only in a fresh and healthier way. And every time we make it, we have no problem gobbling it up!
It has more than 35 grams of protein with no added protein powder. This bowl makes a filling breakfast that keeps you going until lunch, or you can enjoy it any time of the day. There is no added sugar, and it is low in carbs and keto friendly.
It only takes five minutes to put together. You can blend the cottage cheese until smooth if you like it creamy, but it works just as well without. Just mix everything, slice a few strawberries, and enjoy!
Ingredient Notes
Low-fat cottage cheese (½ cup, ~14g protein): the creamy base with a big protein boost. You can blend it smooth or keep it chunky. Or sub with Greek yogurt if you prefer.

Catalina Crunch (½ cup, ~11g protein): adds crunch and extra protein while staying low-carb and sugar-free. Sub with another high-protein, low-carb cereal.
No-sugar added peanut butter (2 ½ Tbsp, ~10g protein): gives rich flavor and sweetness. Sub with almond butter or cashew butter if you like.
Strawberries (3 large, ~1g protein): add sweetness and freshness with few carbs. Sub with raspberries, blueberries, or skip if you want fewer carbs.
Preparation Steps
STEP 1: In a food processor, blend the cottage cheese with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter until smooth. If you prefer, you can simply stir them together in a bowl with a spoon.
STEP 2: Stir in the Catalina Crunch cereal until evenly combined. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.

STEP 3: Microwave the remaining ½ tablespoon peanut butter for 30 to 60 seconds until melted. Drizzle over the top. Serve right away and enjoy!

Protein Cereal Options
For this crunch bowl, we use Catalina Crunch, which is low in carbs and packed with protein. You can use any flavor you like, though we usually grab the cinnamon toast flavor for this recipe. Another option is Magic Spoon, a popular protein cereal you can swap in. Just keep in mind that Magic Spoon is a little higher in carbs compared to Catalina Crunch.
