Looking for tastiest crackers with the lowest carbs? Here is a ranking of the best keto and low carb crackers based on taste, ingredients, carbs, and price.

Determining what low-carb crackers can be difficult since many are expensive or may have questionable ingredients or just aren’t there yet when it comes to taste (be aware that most, if not all, do not taste like regular, full-carb crackers as of yet). When purchasing, you'll need to determine what you’re willing to accept when it comes to taste, ingredients, and cost.
To help make that decision easier, we bought 10 brands of keto-friendly or low-carb crackers for taste testing. We assessed the crackers based on ingredients, net carbs, price and taste. Since taste is a bit tricky to assess (as we all have different tastes), we've included Amazon customer ratings and some customer comments in addition to our own.
We hope this information eliminates some of the guesswork when deciding which keto or low-carb crackers to buy at the store or online. And since many of these crackers are expensive, it’s important to understand what you’re getting. Please feel free to share any helpful feedback!

1. Quest Cheese Crackers (Cheddar Blast)

Our new favorite low-carb crackers are these cheese crackers by Quest. They're crunchy full of tasty cheese flavor, and more similar to Cheez-Its than other crackers on this list. They're denser than Cheez-Its, but still quite crunchy. The cheddar flavor is tasty, but don't expect them to taste like Cheez-Its. They come in individual, serving-size bags, which have 5 grams of net carbs and 10 grams of protein. The first ingredient is polydextrose, a complex carbohydrate produced in a lab that doesn't seem to impact blood sugars (since it doesn't get ingested by the body). If you follow a strict keto diet, you should be aware that the ingredients include vegetable oil and whole oat flour. These Quest crackers are currently available at Target.
Net carbs: 5 net carbs per 1 ounce serving bag (30 grams)
Ingredients: Polydextrose, Calcium Caseinate, Butter (Cream, Natural Flavor), Whey Protein Isolate, Cheddar Cheese (Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes), Whole Oat Flour (Contains Wheat), Vegetable Oil (Sunflower Oil, Canola Oil. Safflower Oil, And/or Soybean Oil), Whey Powder Water. Contains Less Than 2% Of The Following: Salt, Buttermilk Powder, Tomato Powder, Xanthan Gum, Natural Flavors, Yeast Extract, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Gum Arabic, Soy Lecithin, Autolyzed Yeast Extract. Baking Soda, Locust Bean Gum, Turmeric Oleoresin (Color), Annatto Extract (Color), Paprika Extract (Color).
Target rating: 4.9 out of 5 total stars
PROS:
- Good texture: they’re crispy, crunchy crackers
- Cheese flavor is tasty; no strange aftertaste
- They're higher in protein at 10 grams per serving
- Now available at target
CONS:
- If you’re strict keto, then some of the ingredients may not be suitable including vegetable oil or whole oat flour.
- Still not widely available at many grocers
- Somewhat expensive: roughly $2 per individual, serving-size bag
2. Julian Bakery Primal Thin Crackers

These are one of favorite low-carb crackers since they're one the crispiest. They’re light, thin, crispy crackers that pair well with cheese and/or dips. They have a natural, earthy taste, which is mainly flavored by toasted flax seeds. In fact, we ordered the parmesan flavor and thought they tasted more like toasted flax seeds than parmesan. But, overall, the flavor is decent. The ingredients aren't entirely ideal due to the inclusion of tapioca flour. However, tapioca flour is lower in the list of ingredients (4th ingredient) and therefore lower in amount. That said, if you’re strict keto, then you may want to pass these up.
Parmesan flavor net carbs: 6 net carbs per 12 crackers (28 grams). The net carbs are relatively high compared to other crackers in this review.
Parmesan flavor ingredients: Organic parmesan cheese, organic flax seeds, Water, Organic tapioca flour, organic sesame seeds, organic chia seeds, seat salt.
Amazon rating: 4.1 out of 5 total stars
Flavors: Parmesan, salt and pepper
PROS:
- They’re thin, light and crispy crackers (the crispiest crackers in this review)
- The flavor is decent — more earthy, flax-seed taste. Decent enough to be eaten alone.
- Non-GMO crackers and made with organic ingredients
CONS:
- Ingredients include tapioca flour, which is not considered ketogenic since it can impact glucose levels. The tapioca flour is lower in the list of ingredients and, therefore, probably minimal in amount. If you’re strict keto, then these crackers may not be for you.
- Tastes more like toasted flax seed as opposed to parmesan (for parmesan flavor crackers). Some Amazon customers thought they tasted bland or had a burnt aftertaste (likely due to toasted flax seeds).
- Some Amazon customers reported the crackers arrived crushed (thankfully, we didn’t have this experience)
- Expensive crackers: roughly $12 to $13 a box on Amazon
3. Hu Grain-Free Crackers

Hu Crackers have become increasingly popular. They're thin, light crackers with somewhat of a crunchy texture. They have a decent, earthy flavor, although some Amazon customers report the flavor as bland. The ingredients are decent with the exception of cassava flour, which is not ketogenic. These crackers have the highest net carbs of all the crackers in this review. These crackers may be more appropriate for someone following a low-carb diet as opposed to a strict keto diet.
Everything flavor net carbs: 9 net carbs per 22 crackers (30 grams). These crackers have the highest net carbs of all the crackers in this review.
Everything flavor ingredients: grain-free flour blend (almond, cassava, organic coconut), organic sesame seed, black chia seed, organic onion, sea salt, flax seed, organic coconut aminos, organic poppy seed, organic garlic, organic apple cider vinegar, organic rosemary extract.
Amazon rating: 3.8 out of 5 total stars
Flavors: Sea salt, pizza, everything
PROS:
- Light, thin and somewhat crispy crackers.
- Decent natural, earthy flavor (although some Amazon customer report the flavor as bland).
- Soy- and dairy-free, and made with organic ingredients
CONS:
- Texture is also somewhat soft, which some Amazon customers critiqued as stale
- Ingredients include cassava flour, which is not ketogenic and increases the carbs of this cracker
- Other Amazon customer complaints revolve around small size of crackers and strange smell of cracker bag
- Expensive: roughly $6 to $10 a bag on Amazon
4. Fat Snax Almond Flour Crackers

Fat Snax makes almond flour crackers, which tend to have a typical texture profile: dense, slightly crunchy, but somewhat soft and grainy (which some report as a stale-like in texture) — similar to a biscuit. Although the flavor is decent (what you'd expect from an almond flour cracker), you should be aware that almond flour crackers do not taste like regular, full-carb crackers. We prefer the cheddar over sea salt flavor since it's more flavorful (some compare the cheddar to Cheez-Its — be aware there are only slight similarities). The ingredients are favorable since they're all quality, keto-friendly ingredients.
Sea salt net carbs: 3 net carbs per 17 crackers (30 grams).
Sea salt flavor ingredients: Almond flour, egg white, butter, coconut flour, cream cheese, flax seeds, aluminum-free baking powder, water, xanthan gum, sea salt, black pepper, garlic, rosemary, onion.
Amazon rating: 4.2 out of 5 total stars
Flavors: sea salt, cheddar, everything
PROS:
- Quality, keto-friendly ingredients
- Low in net carbs
- Decent, typical almond-flour flavor cracker; we prefer the cheddar flavor
- Offers money-back guarantee when you order online and decide you don't like or want
- Less expensive than other cracker brands on this list — roughly $5 a bag ($15 for 3 bags)
CONS:
- Texture not crispy, rather more soft and grainy (some report as a stale-like texture)
- Flavor somewhat bland - typical almond flour cracker
- Still expensive: $5 for a small, 64-gram bag on Amazon
5. HighKey Almond Flour Crackers

HighKey also makes almond flour crackers, which are similar in texture to the Fat Snax crackers (dense, slightly crunchy, but also somewhat soft and grainy). These crackers are a little thicker and bigger than other almond flour crackers in this list (Fat Snax and Keto Naturals), and have a little more crunch, too. The flavor is decent for an almond flour cracker. We recommend cheddar over the sea salt flavor since it's more flavorful. In terms of ingredients, you'll notice the second ingredient is resistant cassava fiber. Although cassava is not ketogenic, this is a resistant cassava starch. Resistant starches can't be broken down by your body, so they aren't absorbed and should not impact glucose levels.
Cheddar flavor net carbs: 2 grams net carbs per 15 pieces (29 grams)
Cheddar flavor ingredients: Butter, resistant cassava fiber, almond flour, whey protein concentrate, lupin flour, egg white, cheddar cheese powder, whey, natural flavors, butter, buttermilk, salt, disodium phosphate, annatto extract, sea salt, xanthan gum, onion powder, baking powder, guar gum, lactic acid powder, sunflower lecithin, garlic powder, yeast extract, extractives of paprika, white pepper
Amazon rating: 4.1 out of 5 total stars
Flavors: Sea salt and cheddar
PROS:
- Cracker low in net carbs
- Decent, typical almond-flour flavor cracker; we prefer the cheddar flavor
CONS:
- Texture not crispy, rather more soft and grainy (some report as a stale-like texture)
- Thicker cracker
- Flavor somewhat bland — typical almond flour cracker
- Expensive: $11 to $13 a bag on Amazon
6. Innofoods Keto Crackers

Many people became aware of Innofoods Keto Crackers since they appeared at Costco stores. They’re made with coconut, a variety of seeds and some not-so keto ingredients like brown rice flour and tapioca flour. They’re thicker and denser in texture with a decent, tasty flavor (note these are not an almond flour cracker). Due to the ingredients, if you’re strict keto, then you may want to pass these up.
Net carbs: 5 net carbs per 5 crackers (20 grams)
Ingredients: organic coconut, organic pumpkin seeds, organic sunflower seeds, organic brown rice flour, organic tapioca flour, organic almonds, organic hemp seeds, erythritol, organic inulin (blue agave), organic brown rice protein, organic flax seeds, organic crispy brown rice, see salt, organic coconut butter baking powder, organic nutritional yeast, natural flavor
Amazon rating: 3.9 out of 5 total stars
PROS:
- Decent, tasty flavor. Earthy, natural tasting crackers, lightly flavored by coconut and seeds.
- Somewhat crunchy, although some report that they’re stale in texture (similar to crackers made with almond flour)
- Made with organic ingredients (but not all are keto-friendly)
CONS:
- Not all ingredients keto-friendly including brown rice flour, tapioca flour, and organic crispy brown rice
- Relatively higher in net carbs compared to other keto crackers on this list
- Denser, heavier in texture
- Many Amazon customers complained that the crackers arrived crushed due to poor packaging
- Expensive when purchased from Amazon: roughly $18 for a 16-ounce bag. Cheaper when purchased from Costco
7. Keto Naturals Almond Flour Crackers

These fiber-rich crackers are similar to other almond flour crackers on this list (HighKey and Fat Snax) in terms of texture, except they're slightly smaller and thinner. The texture is somewhat soft and grainy, although they do come with a little crunch. The sea salt-flavored crackers are rather bland. We prefer both the flavor and texture of the HighKey and Fat Snax crackers over these crackers. In terms of ingredients, they do include a few resistant starches like tapioca fiber and rice resistant starch. Resistant starches can't be broken down by your body, so they aren't absorbed and don't impact glucose levels.
Sea salt cracker net carbs: 1 net carb per 20 crackers (28 grams)
Sea salt cracker ingredients: Nut & seed flour bend (almonds, sesame seeds, flax seeds, tapioca fiber (resistant starch), egg white, fiber (rice resistant starch), butter (pasteurized cream), coconut cream, soy protein, coconut oil, xanthan gum, black pepper, onion powder, baking powder, salt, rosemary, garlic powder.

- The texture is some somewhat soft and grainy (some report as stale-like in texture)
- Some Amazon customer reported the crackers arrived broken and crumbled
- Expensive: roughly $14 or $15 a bag on Amazon
8. Liberated Crackers

We really wanted to like these almond flour crackers since they have quality ingredients, are low in net carbs, and the company is women owned. However, it was hard for us to get over the strange taste of these crackers. The texture is similar to other almond flour crackers, which are somewhat soft and grainy. They're keto-friendly crackers that are low in carbs.
Cheddar flavor net carbs: 2 net carbs per 1 ounce (28 grams)

Amazon rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

- Some Amazon customers report that crackers arrived crushed
- Expensive: Roughly $14 to $15 a bag on Amazon
**Honorable Mentions**
Flackers Flax Seed Crackers

Flackers are made almost entirely of flax seeds (so, not your typical cracker). If you don’t like the taste of toasted flax seeds, then you may not like these. However, they’re crispy and well-seasoned flax seed crackers. We personally wouldn’t eat them alone due to seed-heavy taste, but they're decent with cheese or a dip. They have quality, keto-friendly ingredients and are low in net carbs.
Sea salt flavor net carbs: 1 net carb per 10 Flackers (30 grams) *Please note each flavor varies in carbs.
Basic ingredients: organic flaxseeds, organic apple cider vinegar, sea salt.
Amazon rating: Depending on the flavor, most Flackers get between 3.5 to 4.0 stars
Many flavors like sea salt, rosemary, hemp seed and hatch green chili etc.
PROS:
- Very low in carbs
- Crunchy, crispy seed crackers
- Quality, keto-friendly ingredients
- Now available at many grocers
- Although expensive, more affordable at roughly $5 a bag
CONS:
- Flavor can be off-putting if you don’t like the taste of toasted flax seeds, which is very strong in these crackers
- If shipped, some amazon customers reported them as arriving crushed
Carbolicious Low Carb Melba Toast

Carbolicious makes low-carb and keto-friendly melba toast that tastes like regular melba toast and is just 1 net carb per serving. The melba toasts are crispy and crunchy but taste rather bland and dry (somewhat similar to regular melba toast). They’re best if eaten with cheese or other dips (due to bland flavor). The ingredients are decent and keto-friendly. In addition, these are highest protein crackers that we tested (40% of calories from protein, which is extremely high for a cracker).
Plain flavor net carbs: 2 net carbs per 8 slices (30 grams) *Please check each flavor for net carbs.
Basic ingredients: flaxseed meal, almond meal, vital wheat gluten, eggs, water, yeast, salt
